The financial support program provides for a payment of PLN 600 for each family member from Ukraine.

“DKH will provide a three-month allowance to new arrivals from Ukraine to cover basic needs in the first months of their stay. (…) Given the financial constraints, the DKH assistance program aims to reach the people most in need”, the message says.

Conditions for receiving assistance

• Polish border was crossed after February 24, 2022. To participate in the program, you do not need to be a citizen of Ukraine, if it is possible to prove legal residence in the state;
• the applicant, together with his family, does not receive financial assistance from non-governmental organizations. This does not apply to payments from the social services of Poland;
• the applicant and his family members do not work in Poland and do not have sources of income.

Additional conditions

• if you are the only father or mother in Poland;
• you are over 65 years old and there are no other adult relatives in Poland;
• pregnancy;
• maintenance or caring for two or more children;
• a family member has special needs or a chronic/severe illness.

If you match at least one of the additional conditions, then you may be eligible for financial assistance.

At the registration center of the organization, you must present a passport or other identification card, as well as a document that indicates the date of crossing the Polish border. Every family member should visit the center.

It is worth noting that registration in the program does not guarantee receiving assistance.
