How do I get paid?
Ukrainians who arrived in Poland after February 24, 2022 and have not yet received assistance from any other humanitarian organization can apply for financial assistance. You also need to meet one of these criteria:
- the family must have a minor child or an elderly person who is over 50 years old;
- a family consisting only of people over 50 years old;
- have at least two dependents (under 18 or over 50);
- have one or more persons with special needs in the household.
How to become a member of the program?
You can register for financial assistance from the Polish Red Cross only in a special application. It is available in both the AppStore and Google Play.
What are the payment terms?
PLN 710 are allocated to the applicant and PLN 610 for each family member (up to 5 people). These funds will be credited to the account of Ukrainians within 4 months.
You must first visit one of the MoneyGram branches, where each family member must present one of the documents – a passport, ID-card, driver's license or temporary protection document.
If you have a PrivatBank, MonoBank, OschadBank or A-Bank bank account, money can be sent directly to your account.
If there is no account, then you need to wait for a response, but this can take up to two weeks. The response will indicate the date and places where you will need to come to confirm your identity and receive payment.
