The aim of the project is to encourage Ukrainians to host internally displaced fellow citizens who have suffered from the war in Ukraine.
“We call on Ukrainians who live in safer regions of the country to unite and support fellow citizens in these difficult times for the country. Together we will win!”, the statement says.
It is reported that homeowners who help Ukrainians with accommodation for free can receive compensation from the state in the amount of about UAH 450 per month for each adopted, regardless of age, to compensate for utility bills.
