Refugee status

Upon arrival in Azerbaijan, you can apply personally to the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The decision to grant refugee status is made by the State Migration Service within three months from the date of registration of the application for refugee status.

You can also stay in Azerbaijan on a visa-free basis, in which case the period of stay should not exceed 90 days.

Important:within 15 days from the date of entry, it is necessary to register with the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan. When entering for a period of less than 15 days, registration is not required. For violation of the migration regime, a fine in the amount of 300 to 500 manats is levied.

Animals

Entry with pets is allowed, but requires an International Veterinary Passport indicating vaccination against rabies (minimum 30 days prior to entry and maximum 1 year after vaccination).
