“I welcome the decision of the Supreme Court of the State of Israel, which obliges the Israeli government to lift any additional restrictions on the entry of citizens of Ukraine”, Zelensky said.
He also added that it is the rule of law and respect for human rights that distinguishes a real, developed democracy.
Ukrainians do not need a visa to visit Israel for up to three months. In March 2022, the country's authorities suspended the visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine.
The head of the Israeli Interior Ministry said that about 20,000 Ukrainians who were in the country on tourist visas or illegally before the war in Ukraine will be allowed to stay in the country. In addition, another 5 thousand Ukrainian refugees who do not have the right to automatically immigrate to Israel in accordance with the “Law of Return” will receive entry quotas.
The decision of the court does not remove the power of the Minister of the Interior to decide who can enter Israel in accordance with the provisions of the law. Ayelet Shaked also has the right to refuse citizens of Ukraine entry into the country on an individual basis at its own discretion.

We also recall that from July 1, Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Israel before the start of the war in Ukraine will be able to find a job. About 13 thousand Ukrainians will be able to do this.
