The updated document contains a clear list of grounds when a temporary departure from Ukraine of a child under 16, accompanied by one of the parents, is allowed without the consent of the other parent. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reports this on his telegram channel.

These grounds include:

if the child or the other parent is a foreigner or stateless person ;
departure accompanied by a single mother (when there is no information about the father in the birth document of the child or is entered from the words of the mother);
the presence of the second parent in arrears in the payment of alimony, the total amount of which exceeds the amount of the corresponding payments for three months, and others; on the recognition of the second parent as missing or incapacitated;
the death of the second parent or the entry into force of a court decision declaring him dead.

The law provides that the consent of one of parents on the temporary departure of the child will be valid for three years. Such consent can be issued in electronic form without notarization.

If the notary has certified the consent to the temporary departure of the child, he will be required to enter the relevant information in the State Register of Civil Status of Citizens.
