“The corresponding draft law No. 6146 was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This means that one of the parents will be able to provide permission for a child under 16 to travel abroad online. Previously, in order to arrange the departure of a child with one of the parents, it was necessary to obtain a notarized written consent”, the DPSU reports.

The validity period of such consent cannot exceed 3 years.

The bill also provides for a number of grounds when the temporary departure of a child under 16 years of age from Ukraine, accompanied by one of the parents, does not require the consent of the other parent. We wrote about them earlier.
