FLIGHT ON THE “BLACK JET” ALONE AND OTHER RECORDS

During the year of flights, the airliner in black livery, which has already earned the reputation of the most unusual tourist aircraft in Russia, has already completed 154 flights and carried 5059 passengers.

The shortest flight of AZUR air Black Jet was the flight on the route Moscow – Kazan (772 km the plane covered in exactly 1 hour).

And the longest flight was Vladivostok – Moscow (non-stop flight 7142 km in 9 hours 37 minutes).

According to the airline, AZUR air Black Jet operates both regular and charter flights. The summer schedule of the “black tourist jet” includes flights to the Turkish resort of Bodrum, tickets for which can be purchased from tour operators or on the website azurair.ru.

Besides them, the “black jet” also fulfills special orders: individual charter flights both to foreign luxury resorts and within the country – at the request of any customers. You can order a charter for the winter season through the commercial department of AZUR air.

By the way, the most unusual such flight of the “black jet” for the first year was the flight with … 1 passenger on board. Yes, the airline also accepts such personal (and, of course, confidential) orders for Black Jet. And, most importantly, it does.

TWO COOKS, ONE FLIGHT ATTENDANT FOR EVERY 14 TOURISTS AND 70 REQUESTS PER FLIGHT

Recall that AZUR air Black Jet is a Boeing- 757, in which the entire cabin is completely occupied by business class seats. There are only 72 of them.

As the journalists and the correspondent of ATOR Vestnik were convinced during the “test” of the aircraft, the passengers of the “black special aircraft” are offered service according to the best business class standards.

In the cabin – spacious, fully reclining seats with a footrest. They are conveniently laid out for sleeping: they can be fixed in three positions using the buttons on the control panel. On the same panel – and the massage button (it works, we checked). Everyone is given soft pillows for the neck and lower back, a sleep mask, blankets.

Each seat in the cabin has an individual reading lamp, a socket with a USB input, an individual tablet with an on-board content system, and Airpods Max headphones.

You can watch movies, series and cartoons on tablets by connecting to the free on-board Wi-Fi. But you can use all the content on your own gadgets.

But the food is higher than the usual “business”. A truly restaurant menu: 18 types of hot and cold dishes, in the bar menu – 11 types of premium alcohol.

There is a full-fledged kitchen on board the “black jet”: two special flight attendants (“galley-managers”) work at once in cook suits, who are responsible for all meals for passengers.

By the way, only flight attendants from the “flight attendant business department” specially created at AZUR air work on the Black Jet.

There are five of them on each flight of the “black jet” – 1 flight attendant for 14 passengers, so the service during the flight is in fact personal and truly premium. The company says that on average, one flight attendant fulfills 70 tourist requests per flight from Moscow to Bodrum.

Despite the difficult times for domestic aviation, the Black Jet project, they say in AZUR air, has proved its success in the first year, and the airline sees a great future behind it. Orders for the winter season are already coming in, and bold new plans are emerging for next summer.
