The decision was made in connection with the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine, according to which, from July 25, commercial banks are prohibited from buying hryvnia in cash from foreign financial institutions.

At the same time, Ukrainians abroad will be able to continue to pay with a hryvnia payment card, as well as withdraw cash from ATMs within the limits set by the National Bank.
