How to get a document?
To obtain a digital residence permit, a PESEL number is required. Next, you need to:
- get an electronic signature in one of the local territorial offices to create an account;
- download the mObywatel mobile application (Android | iOS) – follow the instructions in the application, enter your login and a password to activate the profile (you will receive them when applying for a PESEL number). Next, you will have access to the Diia.pl document;
What does the document give?
The Diia.pl electronic document is a digital residence permit that can be used together with a valid travel card document for crossing the external border of the EU. The document allows you to move around the Schengen area for 90 days within any 180-day period.
