WHAT RUSSIANS NEED TO ENTER CUBA
Juan Carlos Escalona recalled that Russians do not need vaccination certificates or PCR test results for covid to enter Cuba. However, random PCR tests for COVID-19 are still carried out on arrival in Cuba.
In addition, 72 hours before the trip, Russians need to fill out a form D'Viajeros to simplify procedures at the airport. This electronic form replaces the paper form used by Cuban Customs, Immigration and Medical Services.
Form D'Viajeros must be completed for each passenger, except for children under 12, no later than 12 hours before travel. The questionnaire is available in Spanish and English, in the future it will also be in Russian. If the form is not completed before departure, the passenger will have 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi at all airports in Cuba to complete the form with the help of airport staff.
Tourists with passports of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus do not need a visa and can stay in Cuba for 90 days. Citizens of other CIS countries require a tourist visa.
