The Deputy Minister said that from October 1, 2022, there will be no bans on women traveling abroad. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov signed an order once again postponing the registration of women in the relevant professions/specialties for military registration for another year – until October 1, 2023.

In addition, now The Verkhovna Rada is finalizing the bill “On Amendments to Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”. Until October 1, 2023, deputies will be able to establish at the legislative level that the military registration of women in the relevant specialties is exclusively voluntary. She clarified that at present there is no urgent need to increase the number of women on military records.

We also recall that the German government said that a number of regions had already exhausted their possibilities for accommodating refugees: 12 out of 16 federal states announced the suspension of the reception of refugees.
