Earlier, we have already talked about how it is beneficial for Ukrainians to use mobile communications and the Internet in the EU. Many local operators offered free or reduced rates for Ukrainians, but now many of them have already canceled preferential terms.
At the same time, Kyivstar canceled roaming tariffs in 30 countries of the world and extended the “Roaming like at home” service. This free service allows you to use minutes and gigabytes of your Kyivstar tariff on the same terms and prices as in Ukraine.
How to use the service?
To use the service « Roaming like at home” does not require any additional manipulations. It works automatically in many prepaid plans and in almost all plans for contract and business customers. Just keep using your Ukrainian number, paying the service package fee to your account on time.
An important point for prepaid tariffs: if you already have any roaming package connected, first wait until the expiration date or disable it in order to use your Ukrainian tariff abroad.
Using your Kyivstar tariff is more profitable, since it is cheaper than local European operators. You can also keep access to your banking systems and instant messengers, since many of them are tied directly to your phone number.
Prepaid subscribers under the special conditions of the “Roaming like at home” service can use all the main services provided for by their tariff package. Contract and business clients receive an additional package of services: 500 minutes for outgoing calls to all Ukrainian numbers and numbers in the host country, 15 GB of mobile Internet, and 50 SMS. All incoming calls are also unlimited.
