“For the first time since the restoration of Ukraine’s independence, a new checkpoint (CP) across the state border is being opened: on the Ukrainian-Romanian state border within the Chernivtsi region, the automobile checkpoint “Krasnoilsk », – the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reports.
The Krasnoilsk checkpoint will be able to pass up to 2 thousand citizens per day, 10 buses and 490 cars, and subsequently become a full-fledged cargo point passes. So far, the issue of creating the necessary infrastructural conditions for road transport, including freight traffic, is already being discussed with Romanian colleagues.
In addition, it is reported that the new international checkpoint “Dyakovtsi”, also located on the border with Romania, is already 85% ready. It is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
