The new visa program is expected to attract new foreign residents, technology and talent, facilitating domestic spending and investment while supporting economic growth. The Thai government has set a goal of attracting one million rich or talented foreigners to the country over the next five years.

How to get a visa?

Applicants working in Thailand can obtain digital work permits from the Employment Department at One Stop Service Center for Visa and Work Permit, Chamchuri Square Building, Bangkok or provincial labor offices. The processing fee is 3,000 baht ($84) per year to maintain a digital work permit.
