Ukrainian refugees receive Hartz IV basic unemployment assistance, which is assigned by the Jobcenter, from June 1. The increase in the unemployment rate for German citizens will affect Ukrainians who have received the status of temporary protection.

Thus, according to the project of the Federal Ministry of Labor, the amount of payments for single adults or single parents will increase from 449 to 502 euros.

Which other categories will benefit?

• adults from 404 to 451 euros;
• children 14 -17 years – from 376 to 420 euros;
• children aged 6-13 – from 311 to 348 euros;
• children under the age of 5from 285 to 318 euros.

No further application is required, payments will increase automatically.
