This initiative will be launched by French banking startup Welcome.Place, together with Finnish PayTechs Enfuce and Epassi, as well as Visa.

According to the plan, people arriving in France as a refugee or immigrant will receive a “welcome package” with a Visa card. Some funds will already be credited to it to facilitate the costs of a number of goods and services that will be required in the first weeks of your stay in France.

With the help of this program, the government plans to establish a payment system and control spending on each card, in particular, where and how it can be used.

How to get this card is not yet reported. The pilot project is scheduled to be completed this year.
