The Welcome Corps project provides for the creation by the host of sponsor groups, consisting of at least 5 people, who will support immigrants from Ukraine. Such a group must raise at least $2,275 per person, pass a background check, and create a plan to support Ukrainians they want to help.

What kind of help can Ukrainians count on?

During the first 3 months of immigrants in the US, sponsors undertake to provide or help them with:

• medical services;
• education;
• government benefits.
