The specifics of the program is that people who have settled refugees receive payments from the state:

for providing housing – 50 lei per person per day;
for food – 20 lei per person per day.

This offer is also relevant for legal entities (for example, hotels): they can receive compensation – 100 lei per person, but no more 230 lei per room.

Such a program was introduced to encourage individuals and businesses to help refugees and solve the problem of their resettlement.

How to get help from the state?

Statement financial compensation is submitted by the owner of the housing where the refugee(s) lives. A Romanian citizen must do the following:

Request consideration takes an average of 16 working days. Please note that after registering for the program, representatives of the social service may come to the apartment to verify the fact of refugee residence.
