There is no need to change residence permits issued since March 9, 2022 – they will be renewed automatically.

“While the extension is automatically applied to those with a temporary residence permit and no specific action is required, a confirmation notice for this extension is available on the Irish Immigration website. Refugees can download and print it as proof of renewal, which, together with their original Temporary Protection Permit Certificate, will confirm their status in the State”, the government website notes.
