Tour operator FUN&SUN put forward a block flight program to Cyprus

As FUN&SUN told Vestnik ATOR, the tour operator took a block of seats on regular flights of the Kuwaiti airline Jazeera Airways (which flies to Russia) to Cyprus from Moscow.

Flights to Cyprus will be carried out with a stopover in Kuwait, flights from Moscow on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays. The program is announced from 04/29/2023 to 10/23/2023, FUN&SUN has a block of 120 seats on each Jazeera Airways connecting flight to Cyprus – almost half of the entire board.

The flight with a stopover in Kuwait will not be short: the total duration of the flight, including the connection, is about 11 hours. As FUN&SUN explained, tourists will fly from Moscow from Domodedovo on a connecting flight J9-336 0045 – KWI 0550/J9-011 KWI 0830 – LCA 1145. In Kuwait, passengers get off the plane, but they do not pick up luggage (one ticket for both segments) . The waiting time for a flight to Larnaca in Kuwait will be 2 hours and 40 minutes.

On the way back, tourists fly to Moscow from Larnaca by flight J9-012 LCA 1245 – KWI 1555/J9-335 KWI 1855 – DME 2355. The transfer time in Kuwait will be 3 hours, passengers, as on the way to Cyprus, get off the plane at the airport Kuwait, but you don’t need to pick up your luggage, it will be reloaded automatically.

The free baggage allowance on Jazeera Airways flights from Moscow to Larnaca is 20kg, you can take 7kg in hand luggage for free. The price of the tour includes cold meals (sandwiches, soft drinks) on board the aircraft on the Kuwait – Larnaca section, and on the way back, on the Kuwait – Moscow section – hot meals.

Despite the rather long connecting flight, tour packages to Cyprus on Jazeera Airways flights through Kuwait are quite interesting in terms of cost.

So, judging by the tour operator’s booking system, a tour with a departure on June 10 to the Kokkinos Boutique Hotel 4 * (Protaras) for 7 nights with breakfast costs from 160,870 for two, and the same tour to the Papouis Protaras Hotel 4 * (Protaras) from all-inclusive meals – from 188,354 rubles. for two.

Cyprus 5* hotels for a week in the summer with the all-inclusive system cost from 198,604 rubles. for two with a flight (tour to the Venus Beach 5 * hotel (Paphos) with a departure on June 17 for 7 nights).

Note that given that comparable offers in Turkey cost about 130-180 thousand rubles. for two, the prices for Cyprus do not look out of the ordinary against the backdrop of the overall price picture.

If we take the prices for long summer tours to Cyprus for 11 nights, then the tour package with a departure on June 3 and a hotel of 3 * with breakfast at FUN&SUN costs from 174,660 rubles. for two. A difficult, although not critical, point is the need to obtain a visa to Cyprus (recall that now Russians are not given free electronic visas).

The cost of a Cyprus visa for an adult is 90 euros, for a child 6-11 years old – 50 euros, for children under 6 years old – free of charge.
